Meet Bryan Pilkington. Bryan was born on the 4th of October 1979 making him a strapping young man of 22 right about now. He was born to googly eyed parents, Kathryn and Keith Pilkington. From the time of his birth and over the years his parents brought a regular little hoarde into the world with a sum of 2 older brothers and 3 younger sisters for Bryan. His two older brother were married in the temple and a younger sister is also already married. He lives at home with just his two littlest sisters aged 11 and 14. Born in the small outlying town of Gawler, South Australia, Bryan grew up to be a regular little mischief maker. Well, at least for the first few years. He wasn't that bad really, not when compared to his siblings but he did have his moments. Born into a Latter-Day Saint home he was baptised at age eight by his father. A short time following that he moved to Salisbury Heights, a suburb of Adelaide and remained there to this day. As a teenager he was involved more in reading books and computer games than he was in playing sport but managed to gain his tall, thin frame from years of walking too and from school. No joke, it was a 5 kilometre hike from the chapel to school and then another 5 from school to where his house was. He was an easy target for the slave drivers and his dad had him working as a dogs-body from an early age, sweating away in dusty old warehouses. In the evenings he had a few people who caled upon him as a regular baby sitter and kids have always seemed to like him. Best friend to Troy Lister he continued to run amok, doing his best to live a normal teenage boy's life without being too dangerous to himself or others. He did what he could to live the gospel standards and made sure that he picked up the pieces when he slipped up. In High School, for the final years, he studied Maths and the Sciences, gaining a good enough score to put him into a Chemical Engineering \ Science degree at the Adelaide University. He completed one semester before he went on to serve a mission in the Melbourne Australia Mission. After serving his two years there he returned to University and got back into his course. He completed first year and has another 4 to go. As well as his studies Bryan's most time consuming activity is musical theatre. He loves to sing and over the years has performed in 9 major productions and performs in and directs choirs. He has tried to progress his musical talent further by teaching himself the guitar and writing his own songs. His 'Bob the Builder Song' is a real favourite across the continent. He has had a few jobs over the years but only casual things including delivery driver for his fathers engine coolant business, Carpet dry cleaner, installer of heaters and coolers and IT manager. He considers himself a bit of a 'Mr Fix-it' which is very convenient as it always seems to be his fault that things get broken in the first place. Inspired by friends he spent a lot of the last year travelling and has now seen all but two of Australia's states. He met a lot of cool people and tried to do as much as he could including rock and mountain climbing, sailing, bush walking, cliff jumping, sight seeing and dating. He loves to go out dancing and is what is called an 'intense' dancer. Musical taste (if it can be called that) is focused mostly on dance and techno though he can appreciate other things. He enjoys sci-fi movies, including the legendary Star Wars as well as typical action packed motion pictures.

Well, what else can you say when someone says it all????

I guess everything written about Bryan here is true. He has many talents, many of which he has listed here. He has a good sense of humour, always being able to make Amy laugh and he has an ability to take away her problems by just loving her. He is intelligent, both in knowledge regarding spiritual and temporal things, thus his ability to be able to study chemical engineering. He is always surprising Amy with some new piece of knowledge, or helping her with an inspirational, but thought-provoking comment. Beware if you want his attention whilst he is at the computer, or if there is a TV on somewhere in the house, as he is likely to completely ignore you! Bryan is a romantic and is fantastic at writing poetry and organising cool, fun dates. Well, so I’ve heard. He has a “fan club” in Adelaide and when I had the opportunity to meet some of these people, I got to hear all about their fancy dates! (Just joking Honey, our “Great Friday” was the best!) Bryan is a great singer, and likes to experiment with different parts in songs! He is very affectionate and does a great job in making me feel like a million dollars. He’s handsome, sweet, kind, a little stingy with money maybe J, but he has a heart of gold and a romantic instinct that would melt any girls insides, as it constantly does mine! He has the ability to make many voices, but no matter the voice, it’s as attractive as he is. Hold on… maybe I should clarify that because I think that he is very attractive and handsome….  J

Well, ok. So that’s my opinion of Bryan. But, well,  I’m biased! I love him! He is the man of my dreams and the man of my future and there is nothing that I could say that could put him in a bad light because I love every little feature about his appearance and personality….so… yeah, ok, maybe I do wear rose-coloured glasses, but I still love him anyway.
